The Plums: Made using elite, "Shu-grade" Nanko and Purple Queen plums imported directly from Wakayama, Japan
Japanese Junmai Sake (純米酒): Provides a smooth, naturally sweet, and umami-rich rice backbone.
Double-Distilled Liquor (雙蒸酒): Adds crispness and a clean, traditional spirit structure.
Triple-Distilled Liquor (三蒸酒): Elevates the purity and proof, giving the bottle its robust 26% ABV without masking the fruit.
4 Ways to ServeOn the Rocks: Pour over one large ice cube. The slow melt tames the 26% alcohol and opens up the rich plum aromas.
Chilled Neat: Refrigerate thoroughly and sip plain from a small glass to taste its pure, robust depth.
Umeshu Soda: Mix 1 part umeshu with 2 parts sparkling water over ice for a refreshing, punchy highball.
Warm (Oyuwari): Mix 2 parts umeshu with 3 parts hot water in winter to release a deeply comforting plum fragrance.
