The Legendary Monopoles (Since 1917)

While the estate produces 23 different appellations across 14.5 hectares, its crown jewels are its three highly coveted Monopoles (vineyards owned exclusively by a single producer). Acquired by the family in 1917, these plots are deeply revered by white Burgundy collectors

 

Winemaking & Terroir

Appellation: Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, Côte de Beaune, Burgundy, France.
Terroir: Sourced from high-altitude, clay-limestone soils on the steep upper slopes of the Montagne de Corton.
Aging: Fermented 100% in oak barrels (30% new French oak). Aged on its fine lees for 14 months in barrel, followed by 4 months of refinement in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.

Serving & Cellaring


Grapes: 100% Chardonnay 
ABV: 13.5% (approx.)
Drinking Window: 2025 – 2065 (An incredibly long-lived Grand Cru) 
Serving Temp: 12°C–14°C (54°F–57°F) [1]
Food Pairing: Perfect alongside premium shellfish, saffron-roasted langoustines, butter-poached lobster, veal scallops with white truffles, or mature Époisses cheese.
