2005 Château Talbot is a highly regarded, classic vintage from Saint-Julien that has reached its prime drinking window. Born from a near-perfect, legendary Bordeaux growing season, it offers a more robust fruit profile and a structure that has beautifully softened with age.

Tasting Profile

On the Nose:
Dominated by ripe hedgerow fruits, including blackberry, loganberry, and deep cassis.
Complex secondary aromas of forest floor, cedar, tobacco leaf, and subtle black truffle. 
On the Palate:
Medium to full-bodied with a muscular but velvety structure.
Layers of juicy dark fruits balanced by fine, fully integrated tannins and a streak of graphite minerality. 
The Finish:
Long and savory, leaving distinct impressions of licorice, black pepper, and toasted spice.
